FOOD TO AVOID

CARBOHYDRATE;
All sugar (includes maltose,fructose,sorbitol etc)
All starches
Rice,noddles, breads
Chapati, roti canai, thoosai,idli etc
All vegetables
All fruits
All sauces like tomato,chilli,soya (these are made with sugar)
All low fat food (as starch is used)

ALLOWED FOOD;

PROTEIN AND FAT
All animal meat- use meats with moderate amount of fat.
All poutry
All sea food
All egg
Soft tofu/tempe
Yoghurt- unsweetened and ensure low in carbo (about 3%) - 1 cup/day
Cheese- (low carbohydrate type)100gm/day
Cottage cheese- 2 cups/day
Double whipped cream
Butter,ghee, Olive oil, canaola, gingerly oil
